Large redware jar. The top thirds is decorated with a geometric impressed pattern as well as a hand-painted zig-zag and dot design in black slip. It is covered overall in a clear glaze that does not quite reach the bottom. There are two U-shaped handles on either side of the piece. The piece is impressed with the label, "E. W. Farrar".
