Description

Printed cardboard box for a paper doll set. The box has short sides, and the back secures with tabs similar to an envelope. The front is printed with the image of a boy in a fancy dress costume with leggings, boots, and a wide-brimmed hat. The top has the label, "LORDLY LIONEL". To the right of the boy is in the label, "The PRINCE AND PRINCESS SERIES OF DRESSING DOLLS PATD. FEB 20TH 1894." At the bottom is the label, "Raphael Tuck & Sons. LONDON : PARIS : NEW YORK PUBLISHERS TO Her Majesty The Queen. DESIGNED BY MARGUERITE McDONALD."
