Description

Grey blazer with red ribbon epaulets and red insignia on the left sleeve. The blazer secures in the front with three metal buttons, each molded with a cross. The epaulets secure with the same metal buttons on the outside, and smaller, brown plastic buttons toward the collar. There are two pockets on the front that secure with flaps held with metal cross buttons. The upper left sleeve has a round white patch with a red cross in the center and the words, "AMERICAN RED CROSS SERVICE" around the edge. The right sleeve has three small embroidered patches near the cuff: a chevron above two bars.

Context

The insignia on the sleeve (one chevron and two bars) indicate six years of service.
