Description

Dark green baseball hat with a yellow patch on the front for the Vermont Auxiliary State Police Marine Patrol unit. The hat brim has six rows of concentric stitching to match the curve of the edge and a dark green braided rope edging where the seam to the hat meets the brim. The patch is yellow and shield-shaped with indented top corners. The Vermont State Police stag logo is at the top, and the center features an embroidered image divided into three parts: an ATV and snowmobile rider in the top section each left and right, with a marine patrol boat floating on water at the center. The hat has an arched opening at the back and a plastic snap band to adjust to the size of the wearer's head.

Context

This was the first hat design for the Auxiliary State Police forces when there were 3 divisions: snow, ATV, and boat/marine.
