Description

Scale model of a cream separator stamped into metal. The object has a flat, pyramidal central support tower with a round bowl at the top and a tapered tumbler at the bottom left. The two vessels are assembled with tabs. Two spouts lead from the bowl to drip into the tumbler. The the base reads, "DE LAVAL SAVE $15. PER COW PER YEAR 1,000,000 IN USE THE DE LAVAL SEPARATOR CO. NEW YORK CHICAGE MONTREAL SAN FRANCISCO WINNIPEG PAT'D JULY- 28 '08. L.T. SAVAGE N.Y." The inside of the bowl reads, "AMERICAN ART SIGN CO. B'KLYN., N.Y."
