White wool uniform suit consisting of a jacket, shirt, tie, and skirt. The jacket opens at the center front and secures with large brass buttons. White braid is applied around the cuffs, and a gold-embroidered oak leaf sits above the braid on both sleeves. There are two breast pockets that secure with flaps. The white, cotton shirt is short-sleeved and shaped with darts at the waist and gathering at the shoulder. It secures down the center front with white, mother-of-pearl buttons. The tie is black or navy blue, and is narrower in the center, flaring into triangles at the ends. The skirt is cut into an A-line with two pockets that secure with flaps.Context
