Log Cabin quilt in the barn raising variation. The pieced quilt shows a design of strips of printed cotton arranged into square blocks around a center square of pink cotton. Two adjacent sides of each block are made using darker colored fabrics, and the other two adjacent sides are made using fabrics with white grounds. Combined, this creates a quilt with an overall alternating design, giving the impression of a square bull's eye. The quilt is backed with a printed cotton with a design of tiny vines forming green and red stripes and clusters of green, white, red, and black dots. The edges of the quilt are bound with printed cotton, and the quilt is tied rather than stitched.Acquisition
