A pair of Elan downhill skis with bindings. The skis are parabolic in shape, and white at the tips fading to blue and black before returning to white at the backs. The bindings are black with colored size selection indicators in the center.
“ELAN” inscription in red within box in white tips. Diagonal dark brown strip with small yellow lettering inscription “NC 30-7” and in smaller horizontal yellow lettering “SCX” that faces the bindings. Back tips also in white with “SCX” inscription in red block letters. In the back-center are black bindings with very small red and white markings. The right white tip is exposed while the left tip has a type of dark frame around the edges.
Context
These skis were purchased for the Middlebury College Snow Bowl rental program c. 1995, and purchased by Gustin while a student at Middlebury College. They were then exclusively used at the Snow Bowl 2001-2007.
