Description

Pieced quilt in the Sunshine and Shadows variation of the Log Cabin pattern. The design is formed from thirty blocks. Each block contains four Log Cabin style blocks pieced around pink centers. The strips forming the pattern are primarily arranged with the light-colored pieces at the center and the dark-colored pieces at the corners. The placement pattern does not hold true at the top and bottom edges of the quilt. The quilt is backed with a pink-and-yellow plaid cotton and is tied rather than stitched.
