Description

Knuckle arm Windsor chair with a plank seat, which has reportedly been used at the first Firehouse in Montpelier. It features a heavy construction and is not refined, with a dark stain. The back of the chair has two indentations, suggesting that something has previously been attached to it. Additionally, an impressed stamp reading "N. Goodale" can be found on the bottom of the chair, potentially indicating the name of its maker.
