Description

Eyeglasses with clear lenses. The frames around the lenses are tortoiseshell, while the bridge and temples are metal. The bridge is marked, "SMS". The temples curve downward to loop around the wearer's ears. The proper left lens frame is misshapen, falling forward in front of the lens at the top edge. The eyeglasses are accompanied by a leather eyeglass case that is embossed with the label "Dr. Newcomb, Montpelier Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat".
