Ornate doll in navy blue wool skirt with three rows of silver ribbon trim. Top has puffy blue wood sleeves with silver ribbons bands and lace cuffs. Sleeves attach to white satin with red and blue bouquets. The same satin print is used for the apron, which has a wide band of silver trim with large red/orange flowers. There is a wide sheer white dollar, red ties on a red cap trimmed with silver ribbon. Long ribbon streams in a red/white and blue print fall from the back of the hat. The doll has brown hair, eyes that open, teeth and legs that bend at the knees. The lower part of the legs has chipped paint.Context
