Description

Red and white pieced quilt in a feathered star pattern, likely a variation of a California Star pattern. The quilt is pieced from two fabrics: a pink cotton printed with tiny striped and sprigs and a solid white cotton. It is hand quilted with 8-10 stitches per inch in a pattern of scallops and feathers. There is clamshell quilting in the corners of the white squares with a quilted medallion in the center. The pink stars have grid quilting in their centers.
