Description

Stoneware crock with large hand-painted design of flowers (possibly tulips) across the center front. There are U-shaped handles on either side. The top rim is flared outward to fit a small round ceramic lid, now missing, and the interior is glazed dark brown. At the center top is the stamped label, "O. L. & A. K. BALLARD. BURLINGTON. VT. 3". There is a small round lid that sits inside the rim and has a round center post handle.
