Description

Small paper-covered box. The paper is printed with a white-and-blue checked pattern with black coral over it. There is a metal drawer pull at the center top as a handle, and a small metal latch at the center front. It is lined with white paper. The inside has the label, "A New Present from Zannie - 1861."

Context

Possibly owned by a member of the Wright family. No other known VT connection.
