Description

Linen town with a knitted lace border. The towel is woven in a twill weave that alternates between warp- and weft-faced, giving it a checkered appearance. One end is inked with the label, "Elvira Scott No. 17." The long edges of the towel are selvedges, and both short edges are hemmed.
