Multi-colored wooden step stool that converts into a small chair. When folded down into a step stool, there is a small lower step with two planks: one blue and one green. The upper step consists of three planks: the outer two yellow and the center black. The central plank has white printed illustrations of a child standing on a step stool to reach a sink, a prancing cartoon lamb, the Newton & Thomas logo, a child sitting in a small chair, and a television set. The outer two planks have the red printed or stenciled inscription, "It's just the proper size for me/To see the shows on my T.V."
When folded into a chair, the lower step swings up and rests against two pegs on the side of the stool. The back of the chair is printed with the white inscription, "When I sit down to have a rest/I like this little chair the best."Context
