Black-painted bow back windsor chair. It has 9 back spindles, and each arm has 3 spindles. The legs are modified vase and ring turned with turned side stretcher and a single turned cross stretcher. A channel has been cut in the back of the seat, with some sections of it filled with paint. The seat has a slight curved indent where the most forward arm spindle is attached. The underside of the seat is unpainted, and there is no maker's mark.
