Silver-toned commemorative medal showing an image of Burlington City Hall on the obverse and an aerial view of Lake Champlain on the reverse. The obverse has the inscription, "CITY OF BURLINGTON, VT. / ORGANIZED FEB. 21, 1865." The reverse has the inscription, "A SOUVENIR OF THE GRAND WINTER CARNIVAL FEB. 1887." and has the maker's mark, "G. R. FOWNES, N.Y." at the center bottom.
