Description

GAR membership badge consisting of a round medallion hanging from a stamped metal pin. The pin is shaped like a spread eagle holding a saber over crossed cannons and ten cannonballs. The medallion shows a heraldic shield flanked by horses with the inscription, "G.A.R. ENCAMPMENT LANCASTER 1884". The back of the medallion shows the star-shaped GAR membership medallion.
