Membership ribbon consisting of an upper bar, a red-white-and-blue striped silk ribbon, and a medallion. The bar is molded with a book or a bale of hay above branches. The medallion is molded with an image of a pelican feeding its young and the inscriptions, "GAR DEPARTEMENT OF LOUISIANA AND MISSISSIPPI" and "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC".
