Miniature wooden bedstead sized for a doll. The bedstead consists of a headboard, footboard, and siderails. The siderails are notched on the inner sides to hold rails (not present). The headboard has a bell-shaped top and is decorated with two horizontal stripes and a small flower. The footboard is arched and decorated with a horizontal stripe and a small flower.Context
Made by a resident of Marshfield for a church fair at Old Union Church in 1876. Purchased from the fair by Frank Cole for his daughter, Harriet.Acquisition
