Croquet set consisting of 4 wooden mallets, 4 balls, 2 pegs, 9 hoops, 25 hoop bases (enough for 12.5 hoops), and a cardboard box with lid. The mallets have painted heads (blue, red, yellow, green). The turned wooden balls are painted to correspond with the mallet heads. The pegs are turned and formed with one flat end to be able to rest on a flat surface. They are painted red and green. The hoops are made from wire bent in two places. The bases are semicircular with small holes through the center where the wire can be inserted. 8 of the base pieces are dyed green, and the rest are left unfinished. The box lid is printed with an illustration of children playing croquet in a domestic interior with the inscription, "PARLOR CROQUET" across the top.Context
