Miniature vase in the shape of a basket. The front has an illustration of a full-color illustration of a tall monument of a man on a square plinth. The illustration is labeled, "THE SOLDIER'S MONUMENT, MIDDLEBURY, VT." The rest of the vase is lustered in gold. The bottom bears the mark, "MADE IN GERMANY FOR W. H. Sheldon Middlebury, Vt."
