Description

Dress consisting of a bodice and skirt with an accompanying belt. The bodice is tucked to a narrow waistline. It has shoulder caps that fall over the wide sleeves and both the caps and sleeves are trimmed with dark-blue fringe. The bodice opens down the center front and secures with round, dark-blue buttons. The opening is reinforced with hooks and eyes behind the buttons. The skirt is gathered to modern elastic waistband. The skirt previously opened on the side, but has since been stitched closed, and snaps added to the side opening.
