Description

Commemorative ribbon pin consisting of three ribbons and button. The satin-woven ribbons are red, white, and blue. There are formed into three rosettes or cockades, and three tails hang below. At the center of the three rosettes is a round ceramic button printed with an image of a man with a large mustache (Admiral Dewey) and surrounded in gold tinsel trim.

Context

Made for Dewey Day, a large celebration in Montpelier, Vermont, welcoming war hero Admiral George Dewey, home from the Spanish-American War.
