Redwork embroidered quilt embroidered with Kate Greenaway motifs. Each embroidered motif is stitched onto a solid white 11-1/4" cotton block. Motifs include George and Martha Washington, Grover Cleveland, animals, children, and nursery rhyme scenes. It is hand quilted in a clamshell pattern, but the embroidered images are left unquilted.Context
