Description

Double-action revolver with six chambers. It is made of steel with a wood grip and brass trigger guard. The barrel is octagonal, and the interior is rifled. The inscription, "Patented Dec. 17, 1861/ Manufactured by Remington Ilion, N.Y.", is stamped onto the top of the barrel. The letter A is stamped on the trigger guard.
