Description

Metal cornet. The cornet (a) is brass with leafy and floral engraved decoration and an engraved oval with dotted decoration. Inside this oval, it says, “THE / CONQUEROR / MADE BY / C. A. CONN / ELKHART IND.” All three valves are topped with mother of pearl and there is no finger hook. The first metal mouthpiece (b) is bell shaped with a thick rim and has the writing “FORSELL MODEL/ The Vega Company/ 155 Columbus Ave, Boston" inscribed on the surface. The second metal mouthpiece (c) is also bell shaped with a thinner rim and has the writing “Levi Model / CONN” inscribed on the surface.
