1-1/2 quart stoneware pitcher with blue slip decoration showing the logo for the Vermont Bicentennial. The pitcher has a long, applied handle, and the top opening has been pinched to form a pouring spout. The logo consists of a primitive depiction of fields, trees, a barn, a church, and fireworks above the inscription, "1791 1991 VERMONT BICENTENNIAL". The bottom of the pitcher is incised with the inscription, "1/2500 LTD." The interior is yellow glazed around the rim and brown glazed through the rest.Context
