Description

Mourning badge consisting of a stamped metal bar pin, a medallion hanging from a ribbon, and long black ribbon. The bar pin is printed with the initials, "G.A.R." From the bar hangs a ribbon woven to look like the American flag. from the ribbon hangs a medallion topped with a flying eagle and printed with an image of a GAR membership ribbon. The black ribbon is printed in silver with the inscription, "GREENWOOD POST No. 90 PUTNEY, VT."
