Black-painted captain's chair. It has 8 spindles and a thick crest rail that bends to become the chair's arms. There are two stretchers between the legs on either side, and 1 each in the front and back.

Possibly sat in at assembly by Jacob Spaulding. Later used by Willis Hosmer and Dr. Clyde G. Fussell.
