Commemorative ribbon consisting of a rosette with a three-ribbon tail. The rosette has pink, white, and blue plastic petals, held together by a metal button printed with a bust portrait of Admiral George Dewey and the words, "ADMIRAL GEORGE DEWEY HERO OF MANILLA." Three silk ribbons, red, white, and blue, hang from the rosette.

Context

Admiral George Dewey, of Montpelier, Vermont, was a celebrated war hero during the Spanish-American War. This was owned by his brother, Charles Dewey.
