Rectangular, black leather medicine case. The top and front panels open to show an interior that is lined with purple velvet and has shaped compartments for holding glass medicine bottles. The main body has 10 spaces for holding round vials, and 6 spaces for holding slightly large square-bodied bottles. The front panel has a central leather strap stitched into 15 loops for holding narrow vials. The vials and bottles contain a variety of tablets, powders, and liquid residue. The vials are sealed with corks, and the bottles are sealed with glass stoppers. Many of the containers have typed labels on paper.Context
