Hand-tinted mourning print showing a large, central plinth topped with an urn. There is a woman in a black dress with voluminous sleeves covering her face with her hand standing to the left of the plinth. There is a weeping willow behind the plinth, a rose bush to the left, and a shrub to the right. A body of water spans the composition behind the scene, and there is a church on the far shore at the right. There is a sailboat in the water just to the right of the plinth, visible under the willow branches. The plinth is printed with the words, "IN MEMORY", and filled with the hand-written inscription, "Time is passing on--it will 'ere / Sarah C. Damon Died March 14th 1821 Aged 7 months 7 days / Lucy T. Damon Died July 7th 1832 Aged 2 years 7 days / Lavina M Damon Died Dec 23d 1837 Aged 7 months 12 days / Sarah C. Damon Died Sept 9th 1841 Aged 19 yrs & 30 days."Acquisition
