Description

Decoratively titled and handwritten copy of the Declaration of Independence. The title is written at the top in a combination of large serifed letters and cursive script, surrounding an ink drawing of a federal eagle and two 6-pointed stars. The text is written in small, cursive script on graphite ruled lines filling the rest of the paper. A diagonal stripe is formed from the top left corner of the text to the bottom right corner by orienting the letters to the left. The upper right and bottom left wedges of text are oriented to the right.
