Description

Landscape print showing a road running alongside a narrow, flat river. The grass-covered embankment between the road and water is lined with trees. Figures in the foreground include two young boys throwing rocks into the water, a girl picking flowers, and a girl or woman watching the two boys. In the middle ground, a wagon full of wood travels down the road and two horses drink from the river. There is a house by the road with more buildings lining that side of the road, and the dome of Vermont's statehouse at the center above the tree line. Written at the bottom right of the paper, beneath this image, is the label, "Proof No 15".
