Patent model for a milk cooler composed of a shallow rectangular pan with a center drain set inside a larger rectangular pan. The bottom pan has corner ledges to hold up the inner pan. A water pipe empties into the center of the cooling pan and drains from the other end. A bolt and nut tightens the inner pan down for complete drainage. It is accompanied by a paper tag with the inked inscription, "No. 149.705 / Aug. R. Bailey / Milk-Cooler / Patented April 14/ 1874."
