Description

Rubber stamp fixed to a wooden block. The block is printed with a drawing of eight faces, each with eyes and mouth. Three of the faces have antennas or hair. The rubber stamp is carved with the same design.

Context

Produced for sale by the Vermont Division of Historic Preservation. The stamp shows a design of petroglyphs found on a rock near the mouth of the West River in Brattleboro, Vermont.
