Description

Double-breasted, khaki uniform overcoat with metal buttons. The buttons are molded with an eagle design. The upper portion of the coat is lined in cotton, and there are two large pockets on the inside. The back of the neck has a red stamp with the label "US". The bottom edge is left raw and unhemmed.

Worn by Guy Hiram Boyce of Moretown, Vermont while in the US Army during World War I.
