Description

Wire mesh corn popper. The rectangular wire basket is made of molded mesh with bent metal edging that holds sides in shape. The hinged lid has a mesh surface with the same metal edges. One side of the lid has a hook closure and the base of the lid has two wire hinges and is connected to a long wooden handle.

Context

Made by Herb Neill of Plainfield, Vermont. Neill worked on the grounds crew at Goddard College and was a skilled blacksmith.
