Description

Brown figured silk dress trimmed with fringe. The bodice is fitted with panels that extend from the waist to the shoulders, extending over and past the armscye and trimmed with fringe. The wide, bell sleeves have an additional over sleeve ending above the wearer's elbow, both trimmed with fringe. The skirt is knife-pleated to the bodice, and the seam is trimmed with self piping. The silk is woven into a design of naturalistic roses, geometric key patterns, and diapering.
