Description

Watercolor study of a stem of wisteria. The green branch splits into three: two with leaves and one with flowers. The flower cone consists of several small, light-purple flowers that get smaller toward the end of the stem. There is a light wash on the entire background. The picture is signed in the lower right corner, "Cornucopia Flower, April 25th 1847".
