Description

Sheer black silk crepe dress with no sleeves. The bodice portion of the dress is made in two layers: The inner layer has ivory lace at the yoke and black fabric for the rest of the bodice. The black attaches to the yoke in an upside-down U shape. The outer layer attaches over the lace at the arm openings and curves down to the bottom of the neckline at the center front. The seam is accented with gathered sheer black fabric. The waistline is dropped and shaped into a upside-down U. The center front is just below the natural waist and the sides are below the hip. The waist seam shape gives the bottom hem a sloping "handkerchief" line.
