Wooden mantle clock with mirror-front door. The front of the clock is flanked by two columns, each painted black and stenciled with gold. The top of the clock has a decorative panel that is also painted black with gold stenciling. The face of the clock has roman numerals and the corners are decorated with gold scrollwork. The back wall of the interior is papered with a label that reads, "IMPROVED CLOCKS, MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY E. M. BARNS, Chimney Point, Vermont. Warrented [sic] if well used."
