Description

A "junk box" or "time capsule" consisting of a wooden tool box lid filled with miscellaneous objects. The lid has two hinges (partial) on one side, a latch closure (partial) on the opposite side, and a central metal handle on the top (now bottom). Objects within the lid include: A round button with the inscription, "VERMONT GREEN UP VOLUNTEER" A round button with the inscription, "ELECT SNELLING GOVERNOR" Two round, light-green buttons with the inscription, "I'M FOR REAL ARE YOU?", one of which has been altered to be past tense A round buttons with the inscription, "I'LL TRY ANYTHING ONCE" altered to read, "I'LL TRY MOST ONCE" A small, blue pin with an image of an American flag and the inscription, "OLD GLORY" Two round buttons with the inscription, "MODERN HEALTH CRUSADER / K B", and images of knights A round button with the image of Santa Claus and the inscription, "HEALTH TO ALL" A round, white button with the inscription, "BRIGHTEN-UP AMERICA WITH SHERWIN-WILLIAMS PAINTS & VARNISHES" and an image of Uncle Sam and a painter pouring a can of red paint over a globe A small, rectangular pin with the inscription, "HOOVER" An oval pin with two crossed US flags and the initials P H A small, green coat buttons with an image of a child in the center A rectangular pin with the inscription, "FAITH AND HOPE CHARITY" A silver lapel pin with two crossed baseball bats and the initials BBC A domino tile A white drawer knob A small coin purse A roll of tape Five thimbles A bracelet Two rings Two cufflinks (not matching) A barrette A clicker with an image of a person and a dog A pendant with the image of a saint and the inscription, "SAINT DYMPHNA PRAY FOR US" The top portion of a Christmas tree ornament Three name stamps that read, "FORREST A.
