Description

Rectangular basket with a solid wooden base and flaring sides. The sides are woven from round reeds and topped with a plait of reeds. The vertical ribs are inserted into holes drilled through the base. There is a paper label on the bottom of the basket that reads, "ARTICLE NO . . . . . From S. B. SMITH. Manufacturer of Reed AND Rattan Chairs, Montpelier, Vermont.
