Description

Pieced quilt made of strips of solid red, white, and blue fabrics. The strips are put into groups of 6 (blue, white, red, blue, white, red), forming a square block. Each block is oriented perpendicular to the ones next to it. The quilt is tied with red yarn at each block corner.

Context

Made to celebration the United States Bicentennial by members of the Leicester Historical Society. The quilt was given away as a raffle prize.
