Description

Painted wooden sign for the "Chew-Chew" food festival held in Burlington's waterfront railyard. The sign is a wooden stand made of planks and 2x4 boards screwed together, entirely painted red. The base has a bracket across both sides. The words "CHEW CHEW" and an arrow are painted across both sides of the sign in white paint.

Context

This sign was made by Rick Norcross, founder and organizer of the Green Mountain Chew-Chew Food and Music Festival. It ran for 24 years in the Burlington railyard, ending in 2009.
