2nd Vermont Infantry regimental flag. Attached to staff by sleeve. Fringe present. A large eagle, with wings out swept, bearing the national shield on its breast lies in the flag's center. Above the eagle's head are thirty-four stars arranged in two arcs and below is a red scroll designed to bear the regiment's name but left blank.
